Dr. Rufus L. Owens, Senior Pastor of The Life Center Church of Titusville, FL, is a servant of God and serves the body of Christ with passion and love. He was licensed as a minister in June 1986 and ordained as a pastor in 1994. Dr. Owens served as a senior pastor in the Central Florida area for 11-1/2 years. Many lives have been impacted by his unique approach to ministry. His dedication and love as a servant of the Lord Jesus has afforded him an opportunity to encourage many to come to know Jesus Christ.
After being directed to The Life Center Church in 2006, he served under the mentorship of Bishop Ronald F. Kimble. He has ministered at the various Life Center campuses over the years prior to his assignment as pastor of the Titusville campus.
Dr. Owens received his Doctorate degree in Christian Psychology from Truth Bible College and Seminary of Jacksonville, FL in 2000. He was also an instructor of the seminary at the Casselberry, FL satellite site.
Dr. Owens is a native of Melbourne, FL and is married to his wife of more than 31 years, Dr. Theresa Owens. God has graced Dr. Owens, along with his wife with, three sons, six grandchildren, three nieces, and a nephew.
